Napa Girls' Trip - Wine Tasting in the Napa Valley
In this video, I wanted to showcase what a typical day wine tasting in the Napa Valley looks like for me. I went out with another friend that also works in the wine business and a couple of our friends. We were located in the central part of Napa Valley which encompasses Yountville, St. Helena, and Rutherford mostly. We started our day at Oxbow Market, then had our first wine tasting at Cakebread Cellars. After Cakebread we went down the road to V Sattui which is normally PACKED on the weekends but we're out here during the time of COVID so it's been much slower in Napa. It was nice to experience it without the crowds as it's usually such a busy wine tasting experience. After that, we went over to our favorite spot for lunch right in the heart of Yountville at Bottega. Lastly, we went to one more quick tasting at Chimney Rock winery on the way to our hotel, Silverado Resort, where we were finally able to relax and get some great pool time in.
When you don't have any tours planned I'd suggest giving yourself 1-1.5 hours at each winery and an extra 15 minutes of drive time between each one because traffic can get pretty crazy
